The year was 1987. Ronald Reagan was the President, The Princess Bride was hot in theaters and the population of Northern Virginia was nowhere near what it is now. That’s also the year Capital Air Services Heating and Cooling, was born.

Veteran HVAC professionals Ed Lambert and Craig Gaylor co-founded Capital Air Services Heating and Cooling, a full-service heating/cooling/ventilation/electrical installation/maintenance/repair/service firm they still co-own, with the mission to foster a company culture dedicated to workmanship, professionalism, customized services and personal attention.

To this day, as NoVA has grown tremendously around us, the mission objectives of Capital Air Services Heating and Cooling remain the same. We’ve had some customers as long as we’ve been in business, we get to know our clients on a friendly level, and we prefer it that way.

Some things change, of course. Over the past 30 years we’ve seen the advent of green, sustainable, renewable technologies enter the HVAC/heating/cooling marketplace – but Capital Air Services Heating and Cooling has stayed on top of the latest technological advances in green building and LEED construction for both residential and commercial customers. Ultra-efficient geothermal solutions have given Capital Air’s customers even greater flexibility in their energy options.
